Bicentennial in 2026

Bicentennial Sponsorship

The Town of Marion will be celebrating its bicentennial in 2026. The Marion Historic Association will be commemorating this historic event with a multitude of celebrations and events.

2026 Planned Bicentennial Events:
• “Then and Now” A walk through Marion’s evolution is a photo series
​
• Bicentennial exhibits at The Marion’s Museum at Jennie’s House
• Mural for Marion's History to be displayed for years to come
• Lecture series bringing an in depth look into topics that shaped our community
• Celebratory parade

Candy Kitchen Creator: $50- $100

Sweet like owners Harry Theodorides and Russell Freeman’s homemade ice cream. Sponsors at this tier will receive recognition in our quarterly newsletter, as well as on our social media channels and website throughout the year 2026.

Topping Ladder Trustee: $251-$500
Climb to the top of the historic ladder

Sponsors at this level will receive all the benefits of the previous tiers, in addition to having individual signs at all Historic Association events, a featured social media post, and a quarter-page advertisement space in one of our quarterly newsletters for 2026, which reaches approximately 400 readers.

Atlantic Hotel Associate: $101- $250

Tried and true like the Stage that it housed

Sponsors at this level will enjoy all the preceding tier benefits, in addition to being featured in all Historic Association events and included in all promotional materials for the year 2026.

Railroad Regent: $501- $1000

The world stops for you like the train that stopped for the traffic light. Sponsors at this tier will enjoy all the advantages of the preceding levels, plus they will be publicly acknowledged as sponsors during the Bicentennial Parade. Additionally, their signage will be displayed on vehicles transporting

our "Grand Marshal" honorees throughout the parade.
